Happy Halloween, advocates. Starting it with a little Darkness.
Happy Halloween, all!
Great Halloween themed start @mschrei Matt and @dcotom love it. This glass goes away for 11 months after today. Doing some research this morning for my other job selling craft beer. I always enjoy the variants of this, this one is juicy and dank at the same time. Cheers all.
Happy Halloween! This beer is incredible! I highly recommend purchasing this beer, so I should help those who may not be familiar with Mackinac fudge with the lesson that I received many years ago. The "c" at the end is pronounced with a "w" sound, like Mackinaw. I once pronounced it "makk-in-akk" in front of someone from Michigan, and I won't ever do that again!
Trick or treat.
Thanks for saving me the embarrassment. I'll have to drop some knowledge on the beer folk down here when I ask for that Founders Mackinaw fudge beer
As an Illinoisan, I knew that! So glad my favorite beer store owner put some of this on the side for me, along with some of the espresso version. Going to have a fun side to side someday soon. Cheers!
Good day BAs! Off to a yet another damp, cold start to the weekend. The bright spot is today's New Breakfast Beer, from @nc41 and BIF12:
A tasty Berliner Weisse! 4.23
Busy Halloween morning already here at the bar. Two nightshifts down, two to go. Drinking a semi local before a nap...
Terre Haute Brewing Company Sticky Green.
It is certainly sticky. Putting together notes for NBW. Cheers all and enjoy your Saturday!
No beer but RIP Sir Sean Connery
Imperial Pumpkin Ale
Weyerbacher Brewing Co.
This is Halloween, cheers!
Yes, I do have a bottle opener on my keys
I love it and hate it at the same time lol
Great opening! Happy Halloween!
Another great first post! Happy Halloween!
Nothing fancy, but on this last day of October, cracked another new American Marzen (from Prost), and did sprinkle a few drops for Sir Connery and remind you that... there can be only one!
My parents just returned to Texas from their lake house in Cheboygan, MI. They brought me a box of Mackinac fudge. I hope I find this beer to do a pairing with the fudge.
I am joining @mschrei in embracing Darkness on Halloween! This was supposed to be the most epic weekend ever in Green Bay, WI! I was expecting to attend the greatest heavy metal concert in the city's history, on a Halloween Saturday, then wake up dead the next day, and immediately head to Lambeau Field, hopefully somehow connecting with Minnesota's own Dave Ellefson of Megadeth, for the Packers/Vikings game! I still believe that this will be a special weekend, one way or another!
I was gonna try to right an in depth review on this and gave up almost instantly. PBJ Smoothie. This is a huge thick mess of overripe sour banana.
Why do I spent $6 on cans I am almost certain to hate? I'm not even gonna rate this I will just say it is by far the worst in the Smoofee Series....
Now I need a KBS to clean my palate.
My condolences sir. Perhaps this will take the sting away.
Happy Samhain - the pagan sabbat / cross quarter day that Halloween derives from!
Doing a little porter and pumpkin mixing from 2 MI breweries....yum!
have a ghoulish day!
Some mouthwash to clean away that smoothie
Morning BA’s! P-O-R-K, that spells Halloween!

Stayed up late, slept in (Jr. Z walked the dogs this am!). Cinnamon rolls out of the oven, it’s coffee time - BOMB!, courtesy of @Ocalafox:
Bottled 4/27/20. Poured at 57° into my new #properglassware. Hot sauce, chilies, chocolate and coffee...such a fine eye-opener - Thanks Vann! Happy Halloween y’all!
Happy Halloween Saturday, BAs! Thank you @thisischuck01 for today’s Freaky, uh, Friday opener.
Happy Halloween! Celebrating that and the second week of Michigan Football with a Hop Deluge from Other Half Brewing in Brooklyn, NY. Somewhere between Hop Showers and Hop Monsoon.
Sad about Sean Connery. I know Michigan State lost to Rutgers last week, but they always play us hard. Stay Safe, Go Blue, and Sláinte!
I am still drinking KBS and will be until I pass out which is at least a few hours away. You guys really want to see a pic of a beer I've had 200 times?
My wife and her family are from Detroit. When I first met her parents I pronounced it the way you did and they were quite amused.
