Have a good Friday. Actually went to sleep around 11PM. I was on a video skype call with my girlfriend for 80 minutes again last night. Tomorrow will be the fun evening with Skyline chili and edibles. Need to make sure to get plenty of snacks, I was clearing out the cupboards last night. Already into my first bowl, but it was left over from yesterday Getting my chess set and timer in the mail from amazon this afternoon.

Always amazing. Last of the 6 pack, expires 12/28/20. So still pretty fresh.

Here is a nice toast to how the year is ending for me, and how life is going right now. Man, next week is the anniversary to my mistake last year. Made quite a few enemies on here as a result of that I feel. Things couldn't be better now, aside from having a better job.

Good morning BAs! I slept in again...the dogs have been walked and fed...I was going to drink this as my closer last night, but after dinner with wine I shut down the drinking and watched TV with the Mrs. ... and this beer is meant for a morning eye opener anyway, I think - DFH BBA WWS:




Bottled 11-1-19. Poured at 53°. Black body with ruby edges; fast fizzy tan head; no cap retention, no ring, no lace; thick heavy legs. Bourbon and smokey oak; bourbon exhale; vanilla as beer warms. Bourbon, charred oak, bittersweet dark chocolate; vanilla and some dark fruits middle; black licorice, Japanese plum candy; more bourbon. Medium full body; moderate, prickly carbonation at first; alcohol bite on tip of tongue; warmth from 18.3% abv; very dry barrel tongue coating. Overall an amazing BBA Stout; while a bit “thin” for abv, soooo easily drinking; my head/face is flush from the alcohol; my palate satiated from complex, balanced barrel and base flavors.

Easy day of clean up to continue in the yard today...and probably a nap...Cheers y’all!

Cracked open a tallboy Moosehead waiting for my wife of 25 years. Headed to Traverse City for the Beer Week for our 25 Anny. Would have been Florida but travel risky. Headed to Founder in Grand Rapids for lunch, then To Traverse. Already have a trunk load of KBS variants, BA Impy and other locals.
