    Moved on to my craft bar. First pour is Rogue Chocolate Stout Nitro, 12 oz $4.50 12 oz snifter pour, 5.8%.

    Appearance: Pitch black pour, very cream tan bubbly head, nice looking stout. 4.5

    Aroma:
    Nice rich chocolate malt aroma, milk, sweet. 4.0

    Taste:
    Just like light Hersey syrup chocolate milk, light malt. Not much otherwise. 3.25

    Mouthfeel:
    Very thin, lightly creamy, dry malt, slightly sweet, easy clean finish. 3.0

    Overall:
    Thin light chocolate milk stout, average. 3.25

    Pollyanna Bygvin, an 11% rye wine aged in aquavit barrels. Dark stone fruit, spices, some booze warmth, and a little chew. Yes, please.

    Next up, Real Ale Coffee Porter and some Miles...

    In Concert, 1964 at the Philharmonic Hall (later to be known as The Lincoln Jazz Center). An excellent live recording with most of the band that would make up his second great quintet. Only Wayne Shorter is missing as he wouldn't join till later, instead its the great George Coleman on Tenor Sax.

    Always wanted to try fresh, every time on the west coast i only found a few months old. Now here in AZ i found at 3 weeks old. This is very good at a few weeks.

    Burnt City Two Headed Boy

    Notes:
    $5 shaker pint pour, 5.1% Unfiltered Pilsner. Honeyed malt and mild herbaceous hops.

    Appearance: Straw clear pour, light creamy white head lasts a few minutes, leaves light thin lacing and above top. Light steady carbonation. 3.75

    Aroma:
    Nice pilsner aroma, bread and pepper, light honey offset. Medium strength. 3.5

    Taste:
    Consistent with aroma, stronger strength. Bread and pepper Pilsner taste, light sweet honey back. Slightly salty. Balanced and works well. 3.75

    Mouthfeel:
    Medium thin body, light carbonation holds throughout, lightly dry, easy clean finish. 3.75

    Overall:
    This is a very good Pilsner offering, nice pleasant taste, honey back complements well, easy clean finish. 3.75

    Going to split a few beers with my partner. First off: Civil Society / Collective Arts Origin of Darkness, a whiskey barrel aged imperial stout with cinnamon, marshmallow, and cocoa.

    "It smells like Christmas!" she proclaimed. Smells like dessert to me, but that's not a bad thing. :wink:
