    Good morning BA
    I picked this beer up in Bloomington a few weeks ago and I'm finally getting around to it...

    Hitachino Nest Japanese Classic Ale
    It's a good Japanese English IPA if that makes any sense.

    Worked 18.5 hours yesterday to cap a 56 hour week. Not looking to do much today except drink beer and relax. Cheers all and enjoy your Friday!

    Reassured of safety measures being taken, decided to future out with the dad and bro to Tilted Barn's newer, bigger barn for a pour or two. Excellent setup, welcoming as always, and you feel about as safe as you possibly can in public; the beer isn't half bad either...Fermented #30 (lager) and The Chosen One (DIPA)...Cheers, all!

    Leftover baked spaghetti with a Pusedo Sue. Nice 70 degrees and partial sun on the lanai..... happy Friday BA's!!

    [​IMG] Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass canned on 11/26/2020. Pours a hazy yellow orange with a finger plus sticky white head that big tick webs of lace with retention. 4.75

    Aroma ripe melon, mandarin, peach, guava, and apricot. Massive and nice. 4.5

    Taste follows mandarin, guava, peach, honeydew, and apricot really big and maybe a touch sweet. 4.25

    Mouthfeel is big, soft almost creamy carbonation, sticky not dry, and at 11% ABV the alcohol is well hidden. 4.75

    Overall this is another winner from this rather young brewery from Portland Maine. I highly recommend if you enjoy a massive NETIPA this is right up your alley. 4.5

    Feeling sick at the sight of his computer he dodges his way through the Swanston commuters. Rips off his tie, hands it to a homeless man, sleeping in the corner of a Metro bus stand. He screams “I’m not going to work today! Gonna count the minutes that the trains run late. Sit on the grass building pyramids out of Coke cans.”



    Yep, I'm playing hooky from work today. Early afternoon beer of Harviestoun Old Engine Oil, before...well I don't know what else I'm going to do today except make some progress on my next book. Johnathan Strange & Mr. Morrell by Susanna Clarke.
