    Okay, guys
Unfortunately we are on the last day of this tasting Thread ... so I am sending some photos of the Christmas beers I will drink these days and which I will report on the daily Threads of "What Beer Are You Drinking Now?".
I was out today, but I want to greet you with one of these.
As usual, it was a pleasure.
    I'm serious.

I told you this Stradaregina from 2018 when you proposed the Thread that I would open it ... I will do it in the next few days, but I will send you the review because I already liked the one I drank last year (also from 2018) a lot. Let's see if in this year it has remained up to par, evolved or decayed.

Give me a moment that I choose one and open it !

Nobody plays to lose, although there plenty of times this year where I've seen them quit early

New Image/Black Project Worse Things Have Happened DIPA (Citra, El Dorado, Motueka). This one is pretty interesting. Here’s the description of the beer:
A well made hazy DIPA with a touch of funk and ever-so-slight tartness that adds some depth and complexity. Dangerously smooth for 9.5%. Pineapple gummies, pink guava, lime, lemonhead candy, ripe mango, tangerine, orange pith, kiwi, slight funk and barnyard, grass, and slight pine. A great beer by two excellent breweries.

2020 Lagunitas Willettized. One of the few good things to come out of this year. A six pound rib roast currently smoking isn't too bad either.

I saw that beer on the shelf when buying something from the fruit beer masters at Urban Artifact for an Advocate, but could not pull the trigger on a four pack.

Dark mahogany body crowned with a thick, creamy head. Fresh and dried dark fruit aroma; prunes and dates;. Sweet and spicy taste; caramel and light brown sugar; earthy spiciness; light black licorice and ginger; mild booziness. Heavy body; soft and velvety; some alcohol warmth; semi-sweet mouthfeel.

For a high ABV holiday beer, this is pretty approachable. The booziness is fairly tamed and moderate. Flavor-wise, it has some classic strong ale notes of figs, dates, and prunes. This is a beautiful and tasty winter holiday ale, bold and and strong yet quite approachable.

I like this better than the Bell’s Holiday. Although I don’t know if this is marketed as a “holiday” beer.
