What beer are you drinking now? #2987

Very happy to see this close to me. This was one of my favorite beers all year last year. Hasn’t changed at all. Checks every Helles box possible.

 

The best mixed-six I've received was from my daughter, after she went into a local store and told them that I like "that beer with a baby eating oatmeal". I ended up with a nice selection of stouts!

 

Fantastic but you got to let it warm. Its a completely different beer at room temperature. Notes of chocolate, dark fruit and oak with a subtle flavor of vanilla. You will enjoy this one cheers

 

Merry Christmas eve advocates.

 

A couple of thick stouts have my stomach crying for something lighter. I'm having a No Brainer IPA from Victory. Lemon, lime, orange & pineapple on the nose and palate. A juicy, wet, quenching beer. I think it deserves better than it's BA rating of 3.73.

 

This the season to stuff your face. Figured I would start light at least

Last but not least, Advent beer #24: Ladenburger Weizenbock Hell. This is a nice beer. A little banana and bready sweetness.

Happy Christmas eve. Feliz noche buena. I think this is the correct beer.

 

Decided to have a beer before I start making dinner for me and my daughter. We're actually going to do a Zoom Christmas this year. She's stopping over around 5:30 and we're going to swap gifts outside and I'll give her her food to take. Then we're going to connect on Zoom at 6:00 and open gifts. Unfortunately, that's the way it is - I'm hoping we can get back to a reasonably normal Christmas next year. Merry Christmas all!
