What beer are you drinking now? #2989

Hope you all had an outstanding Christmas holiday. Yesterday I had to work for approximately 10 hours, and was consequently quite beat when I got home. So, I set aside my plans to drink numerous beers, instead slamming a Celebration Ale after talking to my folks on the phone, and then going to bed. Today, courtesy of @FrankenMiller, I'm hitting one of the beers I would probably have otherwise drank last night:

I think I got an infected can of Blacklight, a Schwarzbier from Block 15. I'll warn the wife and let her taste it. If she thinks it's worthwhile, it's hers. Otherwise I'm dumping it out. It's terrible. Oddly, looks and smells fine, though.


Lunch was fantastic. Mrs. snaotheus turned the leftover Osso Buco from yesterday into a stew and baked a loaf of bread.

 

Skipping Saison Saturday for 2x Rauchbier.

 

Shots to my boy @killett who understands I am a unique person with unique issues but can roll with that. He is honestly one of the best BA'ers I've dealt with and I've dealt with quite a few. This guy murdered my ISO!

My family was just reliving the entire Mandalorian series yesterday and somehow the Bill Murray Star Wars song came up. Thanks for showing it, I was too lazy to look it up myself.

 

70 degrees and windy on the back porch, Austin Beerworks Pils Vs. Pils "A" and a couple of thick pork chops just hit the smoker.

 

Survey results of the beer cans left in my yard by street drinkers are in. #1 is Natty Daddy


Results inside the house are different, indicating a preference for Founders KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge.

Impressions over on the New Beer thread, overwhelmingly positive.
