What beer are you drinking now? #2991

IMO their need to treat you or others that way occurs for one or more of three reasons. 1) Personal insecurity, so they build themselves up by knocking others down. 2) Total lack of perspective as to their true position in the universal chain of being. 3) They're just fucking assholes. Laugh it off on the inside and take the high road in life. Cheers.

Drinking a Crucial Crucial Taunt Taunt from Trillium. Nice candied citrus, sweet lime, berry, and earthy notes. Interesting beer from The Veil brewed by Trillium. I like this one a lot. Cheers!

 

Lagunitas Stereohopic IPA Vol. 1 (Nelson Sauvin/Mosaic). I haven’t had a Lagunitas beer for at least two years, partly because I don’t come across much fresh beer by them and also because there’s a lot of other great local beer I’d rather try. After having some good clear “old school” hoppy stuff recently by some other breweries, the Lagunitas itch came back that I had to scratch. This fresh new release was perfect timing by them. At $8.50 a 6 pack, I’m not complaining at all. Really solid west coast IPA.

 

60 degrees here, I worked on a bike awhile and then walked over to a neighborhood bar and had a Bell's Christmas Ale.

Currently drinking my number one go to beer. I’ve said this before, but it’s excellent, reasonably priced and always available. That’s a winning combination.

Jim Cuddy is one of the vocalists/songwriters in Blue Rodeo, who I posted here a couple of weeks ago. He’s also released a few solo albums. One of my favorite voices in all of music. Cheers.

 

Green State lager from Zero Gravity while I break in the new art space. My wife’s easel and paints are set up on one side and my drum kit is set up on the other. This is fucking great! First time I’ve been able to my kit without silencer pads in years!

 

I am drinking Nocterra's DNEIPA called Brink of Disaster.
