Just finished painting the eldest's bedroom. Painting ALWAYS takes longer than you think it's going to. Time for a reward...Zero Gravity Green State Lager. Cheers!
I actually have an interview next week for the Chef position at a restaurant in downtown Providence. Just depends on how covid affects everything as to when I start.
Brewing Projekt Evil GMA Imperial Stout, 7.88% ABV. Pours thick and murky dark brown with sweet potato puree and a slight ring of tan bubbles. Nose is cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla/marshmallow, and sweet potato. Taste follows with cinnamon and nutmeg most evident, moderate sweetness, slight bitterness. Decent thick mouthfeel, overall very good. Not really a fan of sweet potatoes, but that's not too strong and mainly adds sweetness.

Setting the pace for the year, lazy day at home watching bowl games. I expected this beer to imitate a pumpkin stout, but it's really just an odd duck. Not a drain pour, but I'd turn one down if offered a free one. That's a pretty low score for me.
How's this ?
I thought so gotta get my hands on some of this! Is this pretty fresh?
Calusa Brewing Zote IPA at Big Hammock.

Whoa. Two pours from the same can, worlds apart appearance.
Modern Times SpaceWays hazy with mainly Nelson hops, accompanied by traditional fare for wife and I on New year's Day: bagel, cream cheese, and smoked salmon. Not sure how it started or why. Normally eaten in front of the TV watching the Rose Parade, but THAT is certainly not happening this year. For your entertainment, I offer Thunderpussy (girl band) and their awesome cover of a Grace Slick classic "Somebody to Love" :
Rainy miserable afternoon here so lightening up the mood with a very good lager
Thanks @SABERG - Happy New Year!
Haus Pils by Greenport Harbor (with a special cameo by my in-laws cat, Cinder). Really good. The pepper and bread are off the charts. Real snap to it.
I am drinking Lawn Darts by Sycamore out of NC.
Lovely floral notes ...
As the resident hip-hop expert here (yes, I said that), I wonder how many DOOM fans realize he was originally in KMD. Like yeah, that was my start. I always knew who he was, mask and all. Peace.
Kane - Holy Nights. Tastes like a Samoa in liquid form!
I love a good black lager/schwarzbier, and this one from Suarez is better than good.

Jackie O's Cool Beans, a golden ale with lactose and coffee. Nice coffee aroma with good mouthfeel for a golden (thanks lactose) and a nice mild bitter finish. Cheers!
