What beer are you drinking now? #2996

This is my second 2021 Dovetail beer. It's new to me so this is a cross post with the New Beer Weekend thread.

Dovetail Hefeweizen



Long story short, this was just an average Hefeweizen, though it's 3 1/2 months old (refrigerated this entire time at brewery than at home), so perhaps that played a factor.

1970 is the featured year in a few hours for WXRT's Saturday Morning Flashback. Here are the first two songs played on May 20, 2019.

 

A day I never look forward to. The Christmas stuff will be coming down. These beers are always solid and under $15 a 4 pack the price is right. Cheers all.

Dreadnought
Dunkel. 4.8% ABV.
Oaklyn, New Jersey

Ruby, brick red. Olive tan head. Smells of huge bread crust. Semi cocoa, toast, rye bread. Pumpernickel. Tangy hop character. Chocolate pudding skins. The feel is medium bodied. Moderate carbonation. Perfectly balanced. Completely amazing and so well done. A gorgeous beer.

 

Got this brew and Troeg’s glass from my big brother and mentor @jzeilinger . First trade ever was with Jeff and so many of my awesome glasses came from those boxes. This as always from Troeg is rock solid and a little unusual which makes it stand out.

Have a good Saturday. Work til 6AM then came home and finishing up some dinner from last night. Was not as tender as I hoped, but I also have a Eye of round roast to cook too. I got monday and tuesday off again this week, so I am going to my gf house to stay over. I can just have my dad stop by and feed the cats

Howdy - starting the day with some ORB Tilted pale ale.
Right up there for one of my favorite 2020 releases.
Lill has designs on the small Xmas tree in our kitchen. May not last much longer... but we're hoping to plant this Alberta fir come springtime. Track in honor of someone who referenced this last night...

Hey BA's and happy 2nd day of 2021....doing the "dry January" thing like I did last year - so you will not see me as often here....I dropped 16 lbs last January when I did not drink anything and would like to lose another 10#'s this month....we shall see....I did pick up a few "NA" brews to help me through the month - I know - they have a tiny bit of alcohol, but some are pretty tasty....



did a 3 miler with Emma this morning already - part of the usual trail we do was flooded, but we had a good hike anyway!
