    Drinking an Origin Of Darkness collab between Collective Arts and Civil Society. It’s a Whiskey barrel aged Imperial Stout brewed with marshmallow, cocoa, cinnamon and lactose. 11.6% ABV. When I had the first of these about three months ago, the cinnamon was way, way over the top. It’s dumbed down a bit since, but the other four of these I have will need to sit a few months more.

    Also including a pic of my soup as promised in the last post. Since cinnamon is front and center here, this is the only possible song. Cheers. [​IMG] [​IMG]

    Not sure why I associate him with Earl Weaver - Tommy was generally a much less irascible guy - but both were characters.

    I loved Vin Scully, since @JayORear recently mentioned him, as an announcer regardless of team fealty. As an outsider, I liked what I recall of his personality and I can appreciate that he spent 71 years, in some capacity, with the organization.

    ...surprisingly, my youngest brother and I chose the same city in Illinois to hole up for the night, just separate hotels...he took his three weimaraners to Ohio, so he's in a dog friendly place...anyway, I'll pop by for a visit shortly and share some Upland Bad Elmer and 3 Floyds Zombie Dust but won't drink much...I have nearly 500 miles for tomorrow's leg of my return trip, he has 300...man, if it were summertime, I'd make the trip back to Colorado in two days instead of three (longer daylight hours, no winter driving concerns)...

    The 40 year RN signed me up. If she's taking it, I'm taking it. It was a pleasant experience run by the Arlington Police and Fire Departments at the old Convention Center which was abundant in room size. Our vaccinator was an young FD/EMT.
