Man, I think we're hop brothers from a different mother. Exactly my take on this beer, the Daydream version is slightly better. Someday we'll be raising brews together.

Dovetail Helles may be my favorite of the style so I can’t say I’m surprised. Next time my buddy comes out here I’m gonna have to make sure he tries some fresh Dovetail.

 

Something to pair with my leftover salmon Fisherman's Pie!
Roasted Garlic, Roasted Shallot, Roasted Cauliflower, Roasted Broccoli, butter, cream topped with Cabot Hot Buffalo Cheddar!!

OUTSTANDING! You go out in the cold and catch that, it is a fantastic day for any fisherman.
You don't catch those every day when the weather is good. I would want to know what his rig and bait were. Ice fishing?

A chilly winter night, 1 C or 36 F depending on if you like metric or imperial. Anyway tonight's choice is Old Man Weird, a chocolate and vanilla stout from Lindgren Craft Brewery. They are a small, local brewery but they put out some fine brews.

 

Didn't EDIT in time. This is hands down the most disappointing Anniversary beer (tried all 10 of them) from Westbrook. The nose is straight up root beer + alcohol. The taste is: artificial bitter extracts! Not sure if I can finish the rest of it. Unfortunately, I have another bottle.

 

I saw this post very early this morning. That beer looked quite intriguing, but that brewery is not distributed to my area. Hours later, @beermanben handed that beer to me. Today has been a day of destiny.

 

This beer is the real McGillicuddi!

 

I always forget how great the sausages at Texas BBQ joints are, those look fantastic

This is borderline drain pour for me, it's not worth the calories lol. I can't get my head around this in total, because I've had all mosaic brews that were fine....eg Long Trail's all mosaic IPA who's name doesn't come exactly to mind. Idk, but I don't mind speaking my mind even if it's upsetting the apple cart on certain breweries

 

Timber - When Daydreams Go Dark (citra dipa)

 

Hop Butcher Double Blazed Orange Milkshake DIPA (orange, vanilla, lactose, Citra/Strata). Straight orange creamsicle with a touch of hop bite and bitterness. I’m not a huge fan of the milkshake IPA “style”, but this one just does it for me.
