    Speaking of Never Forget, this is like @JayORear and I in a band. We had creative differences, sort of like Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams, but when we're on our A-game... sheeeeee-it. Never Forget.

    Finally getting to enjoy a beer after being off today. Slammed a Modern Times Seltzer after my workout. I have no expectations for hard seltzers, so they never let me down like session IPAs. A lot of craft seltzers are usually pretty bright, clean, and refreshing.

    A recent re-release from Back Unturned here in town. A beautiful classic WCIPA. Monday's are mix and match 4packs for $12, a solid deal.

    Thank You. Problem with my channel is when I get drunk I decide Im going to record. Not good. Just like drinking and driving it seems ok at the time but the end result can be a disaster. This latest one I was not though.....

    All around player - yes I’ll take Crosby (if team building is out given the age disparity). Pavel Datsyuk was my favorite for many years. In ancient times Brian Trottier from those amazing Islander teams.

    Equal Parts Brewing (Houston, TX) Chaotician hazy IPA - had this from a can purchased at the brewery around Thanksgiving. Had a mis September date on it. A good beer but would like to try a fresher batch sometime.

    Hate to rip on Abita, as they were one of my fave regional breweries in the 90s, but this was terrible. Cloyingly sweet drain pour. Considered biting the bullet and finishing it, but remembered the advice of someone (@nc41?) on the "worst beer" thread and just cut my losses.

    Now for some Louisiana metal:

    Had one from a pint can a few days ago when I wasn't able to post, and it was somewhat better than the last couple of years, but nowhere near its glory days. Fingers crossed for Double Nugget Nectar . . . maybe 2 x mediocre = pretty good?

    Voodoo Ranger Higher Plane Hazy Imperial IPA

    From a can marked 25 APR 2021 1340 201203091T11920

    Poured into my tulip glass this ale is a cloudy golden amber with a tall creamy ecru head. Fluffy lace rings the glass.

    Scent is tropical fruit, pineapple, vanilla.

    Taste is tropical fruits, caramel, and a touch of pine sap. There is a touch of something earthy and spicy as well. Warm bread. Hint of alcohol warming in the throat and as the beer warms it becomes more noticeable.

    Mouth has a nice weight and a slightly chalky coating.

    A good solid hazy DIPA.

    Got this Aeronaut/Finback collab ipa from a buddy at work. Not a bad beer, and actually works as a grilling beer tonight as I get some steak tips cooked up dinner.

    To me, it’s about what you need. If you need a guy to excel in all phases of the game, give me Crosby. If you need a quick goal in the third, give me McJesus or Ovi. If you need a face off win in your own zone, give me O’Reilly. And if you want everyone pissed off, give me Marchand.
