What beer are you drinking now? #3023

Happy Friday BA'ers! I'm not a huge fan of the hazy IPA, but this one from Akademia Brewing Co. in Athens, GA is pretty popular. Load of Citra & Mosaic used in it. Big 8.2% abv DIPA. Major hop bomb, lol! Pretty cool label design too. I can only take so many of these before my pallet is numb. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Tucking into this delightful Pils. Great snap. Saaz is the best.



Picked up a grab bag of 50+ records on eBay for $30 a few weeks ago. Saw some nice 70’s Deutsche Grammophon Mozart and Beethoven sticking out, which was the draw. There were a few oddballs in there, including this number.



Not a bad choice for a night or drinking lagers!

Decent date of mid-December, and I know I'm enjoying our meeting today.

 

You know, I've tried a number of NA beers and I like this one. Bitburger Drive is a good NA alternative. I keep some of this around the house.

 

I’m gonna open 1 more of your blinds today. But I can’t go back-to-back after this amazing juice!

I intended to post this one first, but forgot. I don't do dry January because I keep some NA beers around all year for when I want a beer, but not the alcohol. If you've every tried NA beers, you'll know there are some pretty bad ones out there. We just had the first NA brewery in GA open up, Rightside Brewing, and the owner was kind enough to send me some samples. This Citrus Wheat is pretty darn good. One of the better NA beers I've had (Athletic Brewing is pretty good too). If you are looking to try a NA beer and live in Atlanta, I recommend this one. I'll be keeping it around - when I can find it. It's going to be hard to keep in stock.

 

Yes, I mentioned I really liked it and he generously bequeathed it to me. I did have to promise him my first born, but it was worth it.
