Went yesterday and got the "Mount Rushmore" case. 6 each of Julius, Haze, Alter Ego and Doppelganger. Quite a good selection for just a little over 4 bucks per beer. All I need really (although I do have a few of their bigger beers in storage) They charge fair prices IMO. Trillium on the other hand...

Nice to have another quality local Kolsch on the shelf! And happens to be an award winner to boot!

I like Very Green very much, but I’d tire of the style all the time.

Agreed, sometimes if you drink a lot of the same style or same brewer it gets very muddled.

Lol , just got home thought I bought. 12 pk of Labatt Blue, turned out I grabbed Moosehead instead , hell not even the same color, I was in a hurry, puppy in the car, $13.99. Didn’t find out till I got home I grabbed the Moose. But it’s cold and a pretty good AAL, it says Fiercely Independent, good fir them, worth buying and at a bit over a $1 a bottle you cant go wrong.

You can't compare the 2. One has a great product at fair prices and the other is kind of expensive for hit or miss. I'm thinking about a TH run this weekend, my fridge is looking a bit thin. I love the case package names.

Lol, can’t say I wouldn’t complain about the opportunity to buy better beer if I was so inclined though. I’d love to take a quick trip to the store and had Heady or Focal Banger just lying around.

If I had access to Focal Banger, I'm pretty sure of 2 things. 1) It would be the only beer I'd probably drink and 2) I'd be a broke alcoholic with a 50 pound beer belly. Wait that was 4 things oops.

I'm having a Brotherly Love, a 6.0% Hazy IPA from Victory. This is a solid all around beer. Nothing spectacular, but very good at everything.

Drinking a Barrel Aged Adjunction Junction stout with macadamia, pecan, coconut, vanilla, almond and coffee, brewed at Trillium in collaboration with The Veil, Cloudwater, Monkish and Other Half. Really nice, more brown and not as dark as most stouts, even the original I always thought had a nutty blonde brownie taste, pretty delicious, the bourbon barrel makes it even sweeter and more decadent. Still have a number of old bottles to get through. Cheers all!

It's a beautiful day for snow shoveling and then having a 60-minute massage shortly afterwards...

My guy in RI just got 5 cases. I give him beers so he keeps me in the loop.

I'm having something called a Spiky India Pale Ale. It's called Jagged Edge and it's from Brewdog in Scotland. I have zero idea what the hell a "Spiky" IPA is, so I just rated it as a regular old IPA. It's got a bunch of lemon orange & mango in the nose and palate. It's ok, nothing I'll look for in the future.
