    I saw a sign in the store that was an advertising stating “leave no stone unturned”. Maybe has to do with it. All their beers even the cans are upside down.

    They claim it was done intentionally, but I think they took a mistake and turned it into a market (no stone unturned) campaign. Leave it to Stone! Either way, still a nice WCIPA that I've been enjoying lately. Peace...

    Stone being Stone aside when this is fresh is as good any WCIPA out there. This is only 8 days old and it’s a phenomenal beer, and the only Stone beer I care to buy right now. Fresh, I prefer it more than any Haze Bro out there.

    Lol, it’s a stupid marketing thing, but the beers still great. So if you see an upside down Stone bottle buy it it’s bottled on 1/23.

    Just one today. Christmas in Hollis, a Winter Warmer from Round Guys in Lansdale, PA. Cinnamon is the dominant note with some figure underneath. The base brown ale is pretty good and it is improved with the addition of the warming aspects.

    Sipping on a Barrel Aged Vanilla Truffle imperial stout with vanilla beans collab from Trillium and J Wakefield in 2019. Real nice, creamy rich vanilla, kinda sweet, dessert chocolates, toasty oak, bourbon barrel, caramel, toffee, fudge, pretty exquisite. Unexpected weather here through the night into today, guess I should've been paying attention to local news, yesterday seemed nice enough and then overnight and today feels like there's a freakin hurricane outside, the most wind I've felt around here in a long time, good thing it's not snowing or there would be 6 foot mountains all over the place. Cheers everyone!

    This 2014 Greenbush Barrel Aged Dystopia is insanely good. Slightly sweet with a wonderful whiskey, vanilla and oak taste. I sure hope there's a few more of these stashed in the basement!

    A couple from Phantom Canyon Brewery...

    'Pops Blue Ribbon' (winter warmer - in the background) and 'Midnight Rider' (robust porter)

    Both beers on tap, and like many tap beers, served a bit too cold for my liking, but both warmed up nicely after a while. They both went well with the fish and chips I had for lunch...



    Pops Blue Ribbon is a 25th anniversary beer brewed to honor longtime employee and now manager of Phantom Canyon, Jimmy 'Pops', well, I don't know his last name. I first met Jimmy in 1995 when I got to Colorado Springs when he worked behind the bar. He's a great guy and we still chat every time I show up there.
