    I agree, I think the maltiness detracts a little from the hop presence. I tried a few bottles of it years ago in trades and I was still never that impressed. It helps to just think of it as an old school hoppy pale ale and not an IPA or something hazy like PseudoSue. My advice would be to drink it out of the can too, even though it doesn't say to. More bitterness and fresh hop flavor to cover up the malt in my experience, more refreshing. Cheers!

    This is a beer that simply hasn't stood the test of time.

    I get my 2nd Pfizer on Monday, my wife missed a day of work after her 2nd shot, flu like symptoms. 101 fever, sore arm.

    I haven’t had that since I stopped at the brewery about 5 years ago. I had it on tap, and took a case with me on my travels. We are getting distro in Virginia soon, I can’t wait to try it again!

    I know it all too well. Im there with you I’m lucky I landed my current job and busting my ass working metal with my bare hands but just threw everything I got into a place to live of our own. I move in several months. A first for me and worth everything. I hope your job search is complete soon.

    Good day Advocates. For some foggy reason I’ve been assuming my bench press bar weighs 15lbs. Well, on a whim I weighed it and with locks and collars it’s 25lbs. That’s the easiest 10lbs. I’ve ever added to my bench press.

    Not usually my time of year for this particular style, but it came as part of a St. B mixed six gift pack I bought in December and after a good workout it’s hitting the spot. Cheers. [​IMG]

    Not my favorite style at all, but this one is good, and I’d strongly recommend you Chouffe Blanche whenever you guys can get a hold of it.

    Id agree. It’s not my palate but the beer isn’t the shining star it used to be. Imo of course.
