    Got my 2nd Pfizer shot yesterday, not too bad really, just some fatigue. If I had a beer now I’d melt, but I’m going to the beer store later today to see what’s around, hopefully by 1 or so I’m a bit more spunky.

    Thank you @Peach63 for kicking things off. Almost cracked open this one 5 hours ago, but took a nap and now I am fully powered.

    Random number generator selected 33 today, which means one of my Beachwood Lagers filled with hops, barley and rice is on tap for this morning.

    I had my second Moderna vaccine on Saturday, with no reaction. My wife had her first dose and felt a little blah for the next day.

    Advice from my wife’s corporate Doc was to take Motrin and something like Beneryl or Claritin after. It apparently acts like an allergic reaction with shot 2.

    Today is my Sunday. Housework done, now on to some pleasing coffee, waiting for my steak to get done cooking sous vide style.

    Valhalla Coffee Porter - Dempsey's Brewpub - Watertown, SD - 5.4% ABV.

    Oh, and I'd say at least one can is going into the wild in NBS 13.

    look: 4.25 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 4 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.75

    Pours a nice dark brown color. 2 finger tan head. The head retention is pretty good, and there's nice lacing on the glass.
    The nose is very minimal. Just the faintest hint of coffee.
    The flavor is a nice mellow coffee flavor up front. The back has a hint of vanilla, and there's some chocolate mixed in throughout.
    The body is a bit lighter than I expected, but not too much.
    A very tasty beer overall.
