    look: 4 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 4.25

    Poured out like 30 weight oil; tar black body; somewhat fizzy head (to be expected with the ABV), thin and dark tan. Huge roasted grain smell coupled with toasted coconut and charred oak. Huge flavors; dark roasted malt grain; chocolate; a hint of bourbon; yes, marshmallows! Heavy body; chewy; incredible bit of residual sugar heft; alcohol heat heavily disguised underneath the heavy sweetness.

    This brute exudes big alcohol and huge sugar sweetness. It's ABV is well-hidden. A near perfect beer if your looking for dark, heavy-hitting alcohol bomb.

    ...ribeyes smoking now with hickory (used apple for the sausages)...I'll reverse sear the steaks once they get to around 110 F° and then vacuum seal four of them and save the other for this coming weekend (got a flank steak marinating for tonight and will slow-cook some pork country ribs with sauerkraut for tomorrow)...

    Would have been nice to get it....for awhile... but also sounds as if it would have been plenty aggravating too.

    Better than I remember it . Not the over-the-top coriander spiciness that was there last time. Maybe that was too old?Recipe change? Inconsistency, dialed-in? Anyway, liking it now. :+1::sunglasses:
