What beer are you drinking now? #3064

A nice hazy from the "second label" brand from The Bruery here in SoCal. Maybe a solid 4.0 overall, but not my favorite by any means (although I am impressed by the can art).. In the meantime, I organized a meat-lovers version of a holiday cookie exchange with my pickleball group. I got 6 other guys to do their own version of ribs; any type cooked any style. We all bagged up samples and traded so everyone went home with 6 different kinds of ribs plus their own. Mine came out nicely after some time in oak+apple wood smoke plus a custom glaze. All versions were good and the diversity of flavors was impressive.

 

Moving forward with a very nice IPA from Nickel Brook. Cheers.

 

#2, what a magnificent beer this is. Absolutely love the 12 oz format - it is dangerous.

 

Chile Colorado is in the oven, it should be ready in 1.5 hours, so another few beers is in order while I wait.

Plenty of debris in this can... hella floaties.

Very Green

 

Toppling Goliath Supa' Sumo DIPA, 7.8% ABV. Pours hazy yellow with a 2+ finger white head that left lots of lacing. Nose is danky pine, melon, and citrus, taste follows, slightly sweet, moderately bitter. Excellent mouthfeel, overall outstanding.

Had some awesome beer tonight. All IPAs from Triple Crossing. However now there is a different calling (wine, bourbon) not a proper WBAYDN post.

Namaste my friends. Without doubt, I will be on the WBAYDN thread tomorrow with the beer I am consuming.

I am drinking Dank Costanza, a DIPA, from Land Grant.

 

Food looks great! The beer, I buy it whenever it is available here. Good stuff in my opinion.

Can poured in. Pint glass

Two finger soapy white foam cap, good retention , scant lacings, over a translucent orange liquid

Aroma is citrus orange, tropical notes

Taste is light citrus orange ,

Low sudsing, hop taste, no bite

Good beer

It's a NA beer night for me. Having Two Roots New West. Super dank. These guys make some of the best non alcoholic ipas out there. Doesn't taste anything like old school non alcoholic beer.
