    This Winter Porter has a solid frame, enough of the vanilla bean, coffee beans to ping effortlessly off the roast malts. Hints of cocoa, a bit of char all in a delicate dance. The kind where you look and wonder if the partner will join you for a slow waltz.

    Starting with a special 22 year old beer tonight. Fred batch #13 from Hair of the Dog. This beer was sold as part of a recent archive sale at the brewery. This bottle is from November of 1998! Absolutely spectacular. I will post a review in the cellar thread. Cheers all!

    Double Maple Bourbon Barrel Black Maple by Jackie O's

    I'd be lying if I said I didn't love Jackie O's porters and stouts! A 2019 bottle and loaded with Maple! Not overly sweet or maple syrupy. Honestly, very enjoyable beer!
