Slumping at a friends home Pabst Blue Ribbon for the first time in many years. It’s drinkable but to much corn flavor.

Good day Advocates. A post workout Orval to kick things off. Will be introducing a 23 litre water container into my workouts starting tomorrow. I’ll explain later. Also including some Canadian Alt Country for you. A great song. Cheers. [IMG]

Pale yellow body with some slight haziness; lively carbonation; dense, foamy head, white and sticky. Nice smell combination of light peach and lemon with a touch of barnyard funk; light and airy. Mild citrus taste; lemon and sparkling white wine; moderate tartness. Light body; soft fizziness; semi-juicy with an acidic background.

Light and delicate aptly describes this beer. Personally, I detect more lemon presence than peaches with this beer. The classic brett barnyard funk found in beers like this is pretty well muted, letting you savor the beer's other local ingredients to a greater degree. Bottled '8/13/20'.

Awsome! Now I understand why you were pushing @superspak to get the package posted

Good to see Zombie Dust too! Hard to find in NW Europe. Just to state the obvious.

Was on my list for years (thanks to BA). Turned out just a bit too sweet in taste for a Pale Ale for me (had it in the US). But I hope to have one again someday anyway.

    Enjoy and cheers!

Wait a Minute! There is a Casual Pint in TX? The "chain" is from my neck of the woods here in Knoxville, TN. I knew they began to franchise recently but can't believe its already out in TX unless you're on vacation here in TN?

Day #5 of vacation and feeling good! Currently at Belmont Station enjoying a pint of Chronokinetic IPA from Wayfinder. Can't believe it's been over a year since I last had a pint here- way too long for sure!

Who's having a Hump Day beer? Me too. I felt like something crisp and refreshing. I never thought a light lager could have nice flavor but Arches Brewing proved me big wrong with their Lloyd's Light. This has become a real go to for me in summer and when I don't want high ABV. It's 3.8% and has a nice lemon/ lime flavor from the hops. With respect to the Big Beer guys, this blows away Bud and Miller Lite. Cheers BAs!

Drinking my last Double Dry Hopped Dot Ave, really nice expression of Nelson imo, more concord grape than white grape taste for me, pretty interesting. Cheers!

Casual Pint has been here in San Angelo almost three years. The best place in this little west Texas town for a selection of draft pints.

[IMG] The original plan was that as I increased my fitness I would decrease my beer consumption, but when you exercise 3-4 hours per day you tend to want more beer. Life is hard. Cheers.

First from a small trip today.
Collaboration between Trillium and Kent Falls. The brewery site says they used all local, as well as their own farm grown ingredients; Valley Malt and heirloom dent corn from their farm. Then Kent Falls contributed whole cone Czech Saaz hops. Needless to say I was anxious to try this pale lager 5.1%. Man did it deliver.
    Delicious beer. [IMG]

Bright and clear body; pale yellow and capped with a dense, frothy white head; patchy flecks of soapy foam spot the glass. Big yet delicate aroma; soft spices with floral notes; freshly cut pear; lemon bread and biscuit. A somewhat flat taste; very light malt and yeasty; bold phenolic tones initially (but mellows out as the beer opens); mild to moderate bitterness. Medium body; soft and velvety with some muted, tangy bite; dry overall.

I love the look and smell of this beer, but the taste, while not really one dimensional, just doesn't measure up to what the smell suggests. The brett is really subdued on this one. Bottled on 050620.

Glad to hear, I should be trying it in the coming days. I've enjoyed most of their lagers, and all the beers that they've put corn into. Cool to see the corn grown on the new CT farm in the beer as well. Cheers! :beers:
