    Good morning BAs! I hope everyone had a Happy Easter. I’m up early with the dogs today, and really enjoying the later sunrise. Morning’s coffee - “Ghost Light”, by Angry Chair, an Imperial Chocolate Oatmeal Stout”, brewed with Coconut. Poured at 55°. Not to sweet and loads chocolate covered coconut.     I’ve been listening to Nirvana again as of late. For some context, when you’re in Junior high in 1996, this certainly kicked butts, along with Korn or Blur etc.

    It’s only later in life that Metallica, Guns N’ Roses and Aerosmith came to my ear.

    I have had this one previously in its "Trebuchet" days and found it rather enjoyable. I must say this current incarnation emphasizes the herbal/vegetal aspect of the ekuanot hops at the expense of the mosaic and Amarillo. Definitely not to my taste. Rating 3.69, rDev -9.6%.

    Made a 19th anniversary Guinness (export) chocolate cake for the wife (I might have had some).
    And a little NA Untitled Art Chocolate Milk Stout to go with, since... I've got a full work day ahead.

    @GrumpyGas - Loved the album you posted, sounded like solid Midwest rock from that era. I transitioned from the Mighty MET (95.5 FM) to WCKG (105.9 FM) and then to Jazz (90.9 FM) and WXRT (93.1) over the years. Saturday is my rock and yacht rock day, Jazz, Blues and other the rest of the week.

    On to the beer. This for me is a Monday Beer. I have one more to go. Not pairing with the Irish Whiskey this time, too early for that.

    I'm starting out the day with a Duvel in a Duvel tulip glass. Rarely is proper glassware so well rewarded as with Duvel. The head is a contender for Eighth Wonder of the World. And, of course, the beer is just naturally sublime. Monday is off to a really good start.

    Following up on the good start to the week with a Lagunitas Maximus Colossal IPA, the double version of regular Maximus. I was excited when I saw this one in the mixed six section today. And I have not been let down. This is a really nice DIPA. Strong hoppiness with pine and citrus that are balanced well by malts.
