    [​IMG] My 11th BA Birthday and I had to kick it off with my favorite local brewery and NEDIPA. This place has awesome beer and food to match it. Cheers all you will see me often today.

    Good day BAs! No weather update this morning - it was too dark to tell when I was outside earlier. Yesterday it was 78 degrees - not too shabby for April - but Thursday is laundry day for me, so inside until late afternoon. Today should be spent searching for hiking boots for our upcoming trip to Iceland - my jungle boots take up entirely too much space in a suitcase. Today's New Breakfast Beer isn't technically "New" because I had it on tap 17 Mar 21 at Brewery Vivant but I try not to rate brews while I'm enjoying delicious food so this one is from a crowler from that date.

    Maple predominates but is barely noticeable overall. Imaginary spruce. Rating 3.74, rDev 0% (First rating).

    [​IMG] Poured into a 16 oz Snulip pint glass canned on 4/5/21. Pours a hazy orange yellow with a finger sticky white head that leaves thick webs of lace with excellent retention. 4.5

    Aroma mandarin, pineapple, peach, honeydew, passionfruit, mango, and apricot. 4.5

    Taste follows mandarin, pineapple, peach, passionfruit, mango, honeydew, and apricot not much bitterness but loaded with flavor. 4.5

    Mouthfeel is pretty big, a tad sticky not dry, soft gentle carbonation, and at 8.2% goes down really easy, but a ton of flavor. 4.5

    Overall this is a really impressive NEDIPA that I feel if it gets a little more time in the can, it will make the flavor balance more and make it even better. 4.5

    Starting off Friday with Round Guys Spaceman, a Belgian Wit brewed with natural flavors. It was canned on 3/12/21, so pretty fresh. It's fruity & light with orange, lime & lemon aromas and flavors. I had this two years ago at the brewery and I'm still the only review on BA for it. I have it a 4.09 then, and I'll stand by that.
