I think I found a new favorite! Troegs hit the puck dead center between the uprights and sent it over centerfield and out of the park to score an impressive hole in one! Shit, I don't usually make sports references but this IPA is awesome!!

 

Probably because of my age I had very little reaction to shot number 2. Seems young folks have the worst reactions. Even though you had a shitty reaction for a day or so that is well worth not getting a bad case of Covid that could hospitalize or kill you. Or even leave you with long term problems.

I have not been to Veil since a few months after Covid. Plans are to go this week and get some of their awesome IPAS/DIPAs.

 

Congrats!! Don't let your guard down though - someone I work with was telling me his son and daughter-in-law who are fully vaccinated got Covid. It wasn't severe but they still got it. I look at the vaccine now as it helps to avoid a death sentence if you do get it - at least hopefully. Cheers!

It's always a privilege to pull up a stool at the Virtual Bar with "all ya'alls" and the reason I fight rush hour traffic to get here ... well worth the drive.

I have to agree with you. I do think the vaccine does not guarantee that you will not get Covid but hopefully it means the worst case is if you do get Covid it will be just a mild version. That is symptoms not bad enough to kill you or even require hospitalization.

 

My understanding (after a little reading about Johnson & Johnson) is that the vaccine may not prevent contracting covid19, but it has an excellent success rate in terms of preventing symptoms severe enough to require hospitalization.

 

It was from June of last year.
