Errands and dinner out of the way, now it's time to sit back and relax with a solid offering from Triptych Brewing, Loreni Pale Lager featuring Czech Saaz Hops, straight from the can.

 

Pretty much.
Trillium DDH Comm ave looks like pineapple juice. Definitely has a bite but not a hop burn.
Treehouse 7 more of a tropical OJ vibe.
Neither are standouts for the breweries they come from, but both solid.

Parish Brewing Bloom, a 95 rated IPA on BA, tasting great. Many, many thanks to those that wished my daughter in-law a speedy recovery from her J&J vaccine reaction. Her platelets are up to 54K today (normal 250K - 450K). Still in the hospital and the FDA is involved with her treatment. My son said they are taking lots of pics (broken blood vessels under the surface of the skin) and documenting her ordeal. The other 6 cases were for clotting, hers is the opposite with nearly no platelets left.....Y'all are an amazing support group....

 

Is he glued to the chair or well trained? My dog would be attacking those tacos while i took the pic. cheers

It's very sad to hear about you losing Your Uncle Harry. I had to put down my MattyCat two weeks ago. She happened to find me when she was about 6 weeks old. She just showed up at the house. This pic is on our way out the door. Not a happy day.

 

Unfortunately one of our most important duties is letting them go with dignity. Have done it a few times and thinking about each one still makes me tear up.

 

A little Dutch Baby action tonight amd some more of this Breakside Turquoise Tuxedo IPA.
No harm no foul.

A rare beer-with-dinner night, with a new-to-the-area brewery: Drekker!

Loads of grapefruit, very crisp, pairing well with a glazed chicken salad.

 

A tribute to my good friend @scream. Dude it is true. I have transitioned to wine. I know you have heard it all before.

Not today but I just wanted to repost it.

 

Here's a 6 month old Impy Stout from Foam brewers.

Imperial Breakfast Milk Stout
11.2% abv.
Brewed with milk sugar, Moka Java coffee, vanilla beans, and Vermont maple syrup from Sweet Solar Maple Farm.



After that one, I may soon look like this one.



This pic (Nov., 201) of Uncle Harry was taken a few weeks after I rescued him from certain death.

Now, he's gone...
