I always enjoy Odell IPA, and they just started selling it in stovepipes for just under $3. Keep an eye out for Odell Myrcenary. I love that DIPA.

OH does seem to blend together after awhile with the exception of Monsoon and a few others. Just my experience.[IMG]

This stout shud get a lot more love. It is so balanced and devoid of the super sweet adjuncts. Every time I have it, I always remind myself that I shud seek it out more often. cheers

    Pickle ball US Open?

    For real?

Drinking an Oskar Blues 21 version 5!ir something like that...pretty good. Smooth. Get the coffee and vanilla in the head, with a decent mix of all the flavors once it warms and breathes a bit.

Will do. It’s draft special day on Wednesdays, so happy for $3.25 pints of this solid IPA.

Switched to a lighter local Kolsch to likely close things out.

    Whiner Curb Cutter

    Bar Beer Notes:
Kolsch - Lemony and spicy hop aromas with subtle fruity yeast. Dry and Crushable. Chicago. 4.7% ABV. $3.50.

Appearance: Light straw yellow lightly foggy base, bright white soapy lacing. Mild carbonation. 3.5

    Aroma:
Yeast stronger than expected, light peach, banana and lemon. 3.25

    Taste:
Taste similar to aroma, but more true to style. Light bread cracker taste, lightly sweet and fruity. Pineapple, banana and lemon. Very faint. 2.5

    Mouthfeel:
Very light and thin body, nominal carbonation, neutral to barely there taste profile, clean easy drinking. 2.5

    Overall:
Faint light tasting kolsch. Better alternatives out there. 2.5

    Hoping Vegas holds on tonight.

    It's Kalamazoo Stout from Bell's...
Such a rich stout - big with blackstrap molasses - dry and full of iron - suggestions of licorice - but a stunningly conservative 6% abv despite the massive drinking experience...

Earlier, return to the mighty DirtWolf...
Long overdue apparently - whatta killer revisit!

Best by dating of Aug 17 21 suggests a February 17th bottling, right? I think they do 6 months on DirtWolf... Big bitter hops, lots of citrus, dank at the same time - pine resin and pith - great body and feel - moderately sweet... Represented well tonight for sure...

Finishing the Kalamazoo soon - coulda gotten two and it wouldn't have been too much...
Such a great brew... 1/25/21 bottling...

    Cheers...

Another ROS tonight: FFF Black Sun Stout. No date on bottle; I got it at one of my earlier DLD--maybe 2011 on this? Still quite rich and tasty. Cheers y'all. Early night as Mrs gets knee replaced in the morning (FINALLY).
