    Good Sunday afternoon, everyone. Bull n Bear Brewery in Summit, NJ, had its first-ever can release on Friday, which included Mango Contango, an IPA hopped with South Pacific hops Vic Secret, Motueka, and Wakatu. I envision drinking this often as the temperatures warm. For a brewery that loves to produce euro pub-style beers this is a very good IPA offering. Cheers!

    ...and I wasn't trying to bust your chops (for what it's worth)...plus, for my money, I much prefer Blind Pig over Pliny the Elder...so I totally agree with your original sentiment...I'm a hog for the 'Pig'...:stuck_out_tongue:...

    A wet Spring day in New York metro. Had Sunday brunch earlier. They served up a very tasty Mimosa for my wife and a Purple Sunset from King's Court Brewing in Poughkeepsie, NY, both delicious. Not the original, but a great performance:

    Hop Butchers Alsace “French” Pilsner (Elixir/Mistral). An excellent Pils with a unique twist from the French hops. Refreshing and satisfying.

    look: 3.5 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.5

    A decent picture of orange juice and pineapple juice in the color and transparency; thin head, soapy. Citrus and tropical fruit nose; a touch of oats. Nice flavor; grainy with a definite citrus overtone; fresh pineapple juiciness with a touch of lime. Heavy body; a bit coarse on the palate with a strong acidic presence.

    A nice attempt at a juicy, tropical fruit IPA, but, for me, it falls short...not bad, falls short of memorable...
