Good morning BAs, and Cheers to Palindrome thread 3113! The usual dogs and kitchen chores are done so it must be coffee time - Perennial’s “Sump Coffee Stout”:



Best By Date 7/19/21. Poured at 54°. A recent Tavour box goodie...cocoa nibs, bittersweet dark chocolate, more coffee in nose than on tongue; sweetness (lactose?) balances bitter notes. Creamy smooth feel; some warmth from 11.5%. Finish is creamy toffee & chocolate. There’s coffee in the smell which is kinda nutty in the taste. I like!

Bud Ice with brunch. No particular reason, it just happened to be the brand up front after rearranging my beer fridge.

 

I guess what I was gettin' at was that it was the only new beer on the shelves at my local place - and I've never heard of it before - so I bought a six ...."Welcome to Bizzaro World "...

I wish I could find that one here. A 0 IBU sounds interesting. I have some friends that drink only low IBU beers and this would fit. I will have to watch for something like it around here. So far the Indeed "Hello Milwaukee" at 10 IBU is the lowest I have seen. I am sure there are others.

Next batch of rain, send it to eastern Washington. It's getting kind of grim here.

 

Had to get out of the office for lunch today. Sipping a Creature Comforts Automatic Pale Ale. This really hits the spot on a warm afternoon!

 

Another cool and cloudy day. Light rain right now, but we could use a lot more. It's been very dry here so far in 2021.
