    Having a New Belgium Wild Ride amber IPA. Pretty nice beer imo, lots of melon notes, papaya, mango, pineapple, grapefruity citrus, toasty amber malts, some fig, cherry, dried dark fruit, toasted bread, hint of chocolate, not bad. Cheers everyone!

    Swedish beer time! This is Fantom by Omnipollo, and it’s quite a treat. Omnipollo, along with Mikkeller, are probably the best known ”gypsy” brewers in Europe, but Omnipollo recently opened their own brewery in Sundbyberg outside of Stockholm. This is one of the first beers from that brewery.

    Well, I must say, that final season of Power was awesome in spots. Awesome. That is until I predicted the ending. I don't like being able to see things, truly. It means the writers didn't execute to perfection. The audience is not supposed to see it coming. Anyhow, ironically, you all saw this coming. Another IPA. This time, DDH Alien from Tired Hands. I might like this better than Double Alien. Hard to say. Both excellent. Peace...

    Mildly cloudy, pale yellow body; lots of lively carbonation; thick, frothy head; sticky, spidery veins of foam inside the glass. Bright, fruity aroma; juniper; pine resin; herbal. Lemony and herbal flavor; underlying biscuit-like malt taste; mild tanginess and sourness. Medium-light body; crisp and acidic.

    This beer is bold yet refreshing. It has a light citrus brightness and tickles the palate with nuanced sour and acidic qualities. It is very enjoyable.
