What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #3135

Good afternoon BA's. A surprisingly nice day along North Padre Island, it was supposed to rain today. The palm trees around here are still recovering from February's winter storm. Drinking some local beer, a decent hazy IPA. Would like to checkout the brewery across the bay if the boss allows. I miss all the BA's showing off dirty hotel glasses like this one.

 

Drinking a Vanilla & Toasted Pecan Night & Day imperial cold brewed coffee stout. Really nice, sweet toasted nutty pecan taste, hint of creamy vanilla, rich chocolate, roasted coffee, still tasty a couple years later. Cheers all!

 

Yeah, these don't completely suck but I still prefer the N/A options from Untitled Art (milk stout, hazy) compared to these Athletic brews. It's just admittedly hard to make an NA beer that doesn't taste like a mouthful of wort.

Matilda from Goose Island. A Belgian Style Pale Ale fermented with brettanomyces. I can't believe I've never had this one. It's really good. Rock candy, dried fruits, clove, spices & yeast. I rated it 4.10 which is spot on it's BA average of 4.06.

Good luck! This past extended weekend, we hit the Outer Banks for fishing (I was the good luck charm!), then headed to Raleigh, NC. Hung out with all vaccinated people, but then hit the bars and breweries and forgot about life! Had a great time! I hope you enjoy your outing! We had a 90 year old with us and she partied like there was no tomorrow! Cheers!

I guess I should fully recover from my surgery anyway, but last night after a Lone Star, I noticed it was the swill that made my knees red and sore (which led me to an ER visit on Wednesday morning). Looks like I’ll have to be taking some time off for who knows how long. Tired of bullshit, quite frankly. Cheers to you, my BA bros. Until then...

This is a really nice NEDIPA.

 

Winding Path Spring Fog IPA. It's tasty. There's mango, papaya, pineapple, peach and grapefruit. A good beer from an unknown brewery. Hopefully, I see them again.

 

Finally had to go to work. That means I come past Indeed Tap Room.
Stopped in fir my favorite Lager.

Hello Milwaukee. Did 5.5 mile run today and this is really good.
