Oh man I was so impressed. The vanilla and roasted coffee notes were so prevalent through the entire thing. Caramel nutty goodness, it could for sure be my everyday.

 

Vestal. My nephew just graduated from Binghamton last week. My buddy used to be an assistant prosecutor there. Small world but I wouldn’t want to paint it. Good old Steven Wright.

 

Memorial Day Services at the cemetery complete, particularly poignant this year.
I carried a shell from the 21 gun salute, given at my fathers service for the first time. I am having the shell inscribed next week with pertinent info.

This is my first beer from Crooked Stave and it is a style I don't often see: Vienna Lager. The pour is the best-looking hue I have seen in a long time. The flavor is spicy and peppery with hints of rye and raisin; not sure if this is typical of the style, as I cannot remember the last time I drank a Vienna lager. Interesting choice for a 10-year anniversary.

Central Waters Pecan Kringle BBA Imperial Pastry Stout, 12.3% ABV. A pastry stout actually made with pastry.

Kringles are a reportedly famous Wisconsin pastry, but I'm from there and never heard of them until I got this beer. Tastes familiar so I probably had them as a kid but didn't know what they were called.

 

We're old so my wife has said she's had enough for day 1. Hotel drinking. New collab between GI and sheetz.

The Lager to end all lagers. Soaker is killer. I don’t even have enough experience with this style to describe it properly. The smells and the flavors are completely distinct of anything I’ve ever tasted. Another home run for HOMES. @CB_Michigan cool one of these bad boys down and enjoy the evening brother, you deserve it!
