New Holland Reserve double oaked vanilla. It’s kind of...paradoxical? It has a light mouthfeel like a lot of NH Reserves, but look at all that lacing...One would think it’s chewy as a brownie. It drinks like a 6%er, but by the end of bottle 1, one might think its bottle 3...so that 12+% is real and not afraid to say hello. The nose isn’t very dominant, but all the oak flavor is there, with a hint of vanilla. I liked the peanut variant a little more, but this pretty solid and refined.

 

Schlafly West Coast IPA

 

My 20 yr old Lucy is still hanging. Its a little depressing because shes deaf and blind but shes still eating and drinking and gets up her stairs to the couch then jumps to her spot. Dhe cant really interact but when I get down and talk very loud she hears me and will "cat talk" to let me know. The vet said it was time a few weeks ago but I dont have the heart. If I see shes not eating/drinking or not pooping or notice shes uncomfortable I will know its time. I hope that happens because if not Im just going to have to make that decision.

City Barrel Stratasphere IPA

 

Same situation with our old dog ( age unknown, we believe he is 15 years old based on teeth wear & Vet Knowledge ) Only sees light or lack thereof, pretty deaf too. He gets disoriented a lot. But still can jump up on the couch, find the food & water. He was my Father in Law's dog, who ( her Dad ) has been gone for over 3 years. Needless to say, my wife doesn't want to let him go

Jesus, if they ever come out with a 30 rack of Tropicalia I don’t know what I’ll do. I was excited as hell when I saw the 12 packs.



In sad news, my local Kroger where was acquiring Hamms has remodeled the beer section and currently, at the moment, is not carrying it... I may pull a Karen and raise hell.
