In my glass now is Free Will Peel & Petal. They describe it as, " a wheat ale delicately spiced with a combination of sweet orange peel, chamomile and coriander". All of the advertised notes are present, but chamomile is just weird in a beer. At least to me it is. It's a solid wheat beer, though. I rated it 3.81 which can't really be compared to anything b/c I was the 1st review.

Tasty and fresh! A perfectly fine lager with just a hint of DMS. Cheers from Tampa!

congrats on the move! We are across the Sound ( and farther west than I prefer). You have plenty of short trips to superb brews nearby.

 

I'm hanging on the back porch on an absolutely spectacular day. So I picked one that Wifey wouldn't want to share anyway. Brewdog Elvis Juice. Plenty of grapefruit and orange. A really nice one to be shipping on the porch.

 

This Barrier offering, Deadly Combination ( Citra and Moteuka) is light-bodied and lemony. Cheers

Last SNSB in the mighty Stube fridge.
Got my mobile office ready to hit the road for a show tmrw afternoon with Pachanga Society. It's a 2 hr show and I'll spend 5 hrs driving. Beer is good. Very good! Beer at the end of the tunnel.

Wife asked me to make some brunch. Yes dear, whatever you say dear.

So, I made her some chicken sausage gravy and biscuits and eggs. For me I went with a nice sirloin basted in some thyme garlic butter of course, 2 eggs sunnyside up and some of that gravy and biscuits. No complaints!



And needed a beverage and this is close enough to orange juice!


I have plans for some lemon pepper wet wings for tonight for the ATL vs Philly game.

Celebrating my 29th today with a 2019 vintage Napa Parabola imperial stout aged in red wine barrels. Lot of meaty smoke notes, luscious chocolate, caramel, brown sugar, roasted malt, jammy berries, smooth red wine notes, dark fruit, hints of tobacco, oak, earthy hop, pretty great stuff. Cheers everyone!
