What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #3167

Tired Hands Death Tripper Galaxy IPA. Easily my favorite single IPA from Tired Hands, bought more than usual this time. It's a great summer beer, but I'll just have to close my eyes and pretend we're not having a downpour in the middle of June.

 

All romantics meet the same fate someday, cynical and drunk and boring someone in some dark cafe, you laugh, he said you think your immune..

All good dreamers pass this way some day, hidin' behind the bottles in dark cafes...

Dark Cafes...yeah, and that is one of the greatest songs ever written in my book. Which I already posted but will again, but a live version

Anyway, my dark cafe is Johnny's Gold Brick, an excellent dive bar and cocktail spot.

Then traditional cold pork Bahn Mi time, with a Yellow Rose. Went to Nam Eatery, a great little Vietnamese spot that now has one tap of Yellow Rose ha. Got all the fixins here, pate, fried egg, and spring rolls.

More fridge cleanup from J Wakefield Brewing, this TIPA is 2 months old today and holding up pretty well. Juicy juice with some malt.

 

Thanks my friend, houses around here are going pretty fast too. The guy across the street got 30k above asking. I noticed a few more for sale signs around, so I hope we didn’t wait too long to sell. I want out of work so bad, my wife is done and just waiting to see if we sell this weekend. She will give her notice as soon as possible. She promised me a Vermont trip the day after I leave my job. We’re definitely driving down to Fla in the fall.

Dirty Couch - Forager Huckleberry wild ale. Actually quite good.

 

I first had this beer in Muskegon MI about 4 years ago and have loved it every since...M-43....

 

For the Roses, released between Blue and Court & Spark. It is every bit the masterpiece those are but didn't seem to get the recognition. While Blue was the album I grew up with, this was one of the first albums I purchased for myself, that wasn't part of my parents collection. They had this way back when but sold it and a bunch before I really got into vinyl (I mean I was only like 15 in the 90's and everyone was getting rid of their collections except the weird guy that bought everything up, and I was slightly intrigued with ha), for ever my shame as I have basically tried to recreate their collection over the last 20 so years

Oh and an Ayinger Brauweisse. The good thing about those online tastings is that I have a bunch of classic and excellent examples of whatever style the tasting was for, for at least another week

 

@miwestcoaster I think we’ll need the formula key, but I’m sure we are willing to adopt that into the official beer mathematics curriculum.
