Forgive me folks, but I'm not a fan of the original Old Rasputin. This is much better, but I just don't care for that piney/resiny West Coast flavor profile. The body could also be a little thicker.

One for the road - Rum Barrel Aged Bearied Treasure:



An omg beer for me…strong coconut nose, chocolate covered coconut patties dipped in rum taste. Some boozy phenolic bite on the tip of my tongue, which is how I like to roll. The rum is subtle compared to, say, Prairie’s rum barreled offerings. Regret my decision to drive to the brewery; sadly, I’m one and delishishly done…Cheers y’all!

 

As much as I enjoy the cold, gray, rainy, dead days of November, it’s quite a beautiful day here. Cheers!

This is simply a delicious local session IPA, that I am going to drink a lot of this summer! Speaking of local, we have 3-2-1 active MVPs in Wisconsin professional sports. A.A.Ron Rodgers, Greek Freak, and Christian Yelich. The two greatest athletes in Wisconsin sports history (Aaron Rogers and Lew Alcindor), have decided to hate on Wisconsin sports. That is unfortunate, but we are having a lot of fun!
