    Emperor Julius from Tree House. I can't even imagine the idea of this back in the Monson days. The lines were already worthy of police patrol. I love it, actually. Nate knows how to dial things up without sacrificing what made the OG special in the first place. A true master class in brewing.

    This week's emotional sunset piece is first of all dedicated to my dog, Oliver! My ex-wife and I are starting split-custody, since she bought a house, after living in an apartment. He has been my ride-or-die during the stay-at-home pandemic situation. Wisconsin BAs, this is also dedicated to you, this could be it, the NBA Finals! I planned on going to the Deer District tonight, but if the Milwaukee Bucks win tonight, being from Milwaukee, Milwaukee celebrating the Finals on a July 3rd Saturday night will be complete mayhem! I better not tempt fate, so I will hopefully be able to celebrate on my porch at home tonight!

    At Surly Beer Hall in Minnesota. Drinking a Rose and Lime to start with. Both are reasonably dry and not sweet like a lot of fruit beers. Still not really dry.

    Disappointed in their stouts. 3 choices 2 with lactose which will not like me. One is Darkness on tap. Really has a lot of licorice in it which doesn't taste right in a stout. I have had large bottles of Darkness and do not remember the strong licorice.
