Tree House Super Treat. I dare say that it tastes better in a can than on draft, which I know some (@TheIPAHunter ?) may consider blasphemous

Another scorcher today. Not really a very good beer but it hits the spot when you are hot and thirsty.

Faintly hazy, light yellow body; actively rising carbonation; relatively thin yet dense and creamy, white head. Very nice old-school dank aroma; subliminal cracker notes deep in the background. Resinous, vinous taste; mild malt background; mild to moderate bitterness throughout. Medium body; smooth and silken.

This is a fine take on the west-coast IPA style. It hits the resinous, dank notes one might expect. It's not earth-shattering, yet pretty enjoyable all around.

Poured at 57° F; no canning data noted on the label.

I am continuing with the rekindling of my love of well-made, solidly malty, IPAs that fall in the 5-7% abv. range. I'm currently drinking a Three Flyod's Alpha King. This is another of those beers I would have loved to have come across when I first got into craft (13-ish years ago). It garnered a fair amount of hype back then. In any event, it's awesome. I am no IPA expert, but if they were all made like this, I'd be cool with it.

More thunderstorms rolling through my area. Feels good to have the temp and humidity get cleared out by that last round of thunderstorms.

Drekker Chonk Tropical Berry Blast Sundae Sour, 6.5% ABV. Pours thick and murky maroon, with a one finger purple head capped with massive bubbles. Nose is a fruit mashup of blueberry and black currant, faint lime, and vanilla/marshmallow. Taste follows with lime up front, quite sweet, slightly tart. Outstanding thick and creamy mouthfeel, overall outstanding. My biggest gripe is calling this tropical. Can't taste the coconut, so where is the tropical?

A decent day’s driving done…set up for the night at the campground, drinking a Yee Haw Dunkel:

It’s 86° in the heartland and with the humidity it feels like 91°, so no campfire tonight. Tried some good beers and ate some delicious pizza at Scarlet Grove Pizza and Public House earlier in Indianapolis…all meat pizza and “Dorian Coconut Stout” 6% abv:

The beer had strong coconut nose and taste! I liked it so much I got a 32oz growler to go! Cheers from Crawfordsville, IN!
