Early lunch on our way home at The Hangar in Barr Nunn, WY.
Wife is having a Moscow Mule with a cheeseburger salad.
I'm having a prime dip with a Citra IPA from Gruner Brothers out of Casper.

903 Brewers -- Oak Aged Coffee Coconut Sasquatch Reserve (American imperial stout)

    look: 3.75 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 3.75

Tar black body; respectable head for a high ABV beer - thin, somewhat creamy, khaki colored. Rich and sweet smell; coconut, cocoa, and caramel; coffee. Heavy tastes; milk chocolate; vanilla and coconut; very boozy, almost medicinal; raw oak. Heavy body; rich and oily; heavy residual sugars; alcohol warmth cuts through the sweetness.

I generally love this beer yet the one major flaw is the somewhat medicinal-like character in the taste. It's not overpowering, but it makes me think of mouthwash. Regardless, it is a fine looking, excellent feeling beer, rich and complex overall.

Poured at 60 F; no canning data noted on the label or can.

Good day advocates! Dank you very much DoctorZombies for uncorking today's thread...
I had a fabulous weekend in N. MN. Duluth is such a funky place! Had fantastic beers and only one dud. Music was great and the band were in good form. I'll post a pic in the Latest Beer Haul thread, but here's a dandy IPA from my R3T: Range Release Road Trip...It is fantastic and I got a 6pk.
Cheers! It's great to be home. Right now taking a break from yard work/lawn choppin'.

Up now is an all time favorite of mine, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Crisp, hoppy and perfect in its own way.

    Trillium Raspberry lineage wheat 7.4%.
First beer from Trillium. Bottled July 2018. Kept refrigerated. Tastes great. One of the best Raspberry Wheat beers I've tried. A lot of floaties but I'm drinking those too.

Good Afternoon BAs. Started my day off this morning with no power for almost 3 hours. Drinking something new to me from Cigar City:

Frost Proof Belgian-style White. A good take on the Witbier style: wheat, coriander and citrus (orange, but not too fruity). Easy drinking, I will be getting another after hitting the 'post reply' button.
    Cheers!

Good afternoon, advocates. Played some disc golf earlier; it's muggy as hell outside. Settling in with one of my all-time favorites. Possibly my all-time favorite now that Alpine Nelson is no more. That leads me to the topic of Muntz, but that's for another time and place. Introducing a beer that needs no intro at all, and straight from the can. I love you John Kimmich. I love you too, Hunter. Cheers!!!

Let's just say the beer was good, but customer service wasn't worth squat - totally unlike Phantom Canyon...

In my glass now is The Pastryarchy Edition 16 Oatmeal Cream Pie from DuClaw. It's an Imperial Honey Wheat Ale Brewed with Brown Sugar, Molasses, Cinnamon, Clove, Ginger & Vanilla Bean. Wow, that's a whole lot. All that typing and it's mostly just cinnamon. Oh well....
