I went back to the hotel and dropped off some bottles…Ubered downtown, now drinking Founder’s Pale Ale on tap:



Brewery/taproom only release. Light bitter citrus and pine. Some resin in the mouthfeel. Clean easy drinking WC style - Excellent! Cheers from Founder’s Brewing, Grand Rapids, MI!

Worked last night and been running around today, so decided to sit by the pool enjoying the delicious Vienna Lager from Kane Brewing (Ocean, NJ), Coastal Plain. Very, very impressed. Wish that I had more than just this one:

Medium amber pour, consumed at 56°; off white head, poor cap retention; thin ring; a few spots of lace. Nose is peaches followed by cinnamon. Taste follows nose; sweet peach fruit and honey; light spice/cinnamon; vanilla on backend. Smooth honey tongue coating; medium body; moderate minus carbonation; no warmth from 8.1% abv. Overall an excellent beer; drinks like a light mead, tastes like a peach pie that had a bit of cinnamon, allspice, vanilla and almond added. I’d gladly drink again!
