Been a warm sweaty day. Just mowed the lawn. Now Im almost eaten alive but those shitty thunderbugs. Some even got into my pc monitor argh. So pissed at the moment. A beer might ease the pain.

I can hear thunder in the distance. Lets hope for a bit of rain . The southern and eastern part of the country already got flooded. And in the west we got shit. Not that we need that much rain of course.

I’ve been futzing around all morning, time for a break - Tree House’s “Simple Life”, Imperial Milk Stout:



Canned 3/5/21. Poured at 58°. A lovely milk stout…punching in a lower weight class than Angry Chair and others, but quite tasty nonetheless…working on notes for NBW. Cheers y’all!

I was suckered into a 15pk of Oskar Blues because it had G’Knight in it, which I haven’t had in forever. The GF can take the hazy IPAs, and I’ll take the Mama’s. But right now, the beer I’ve had often enough and am not tired of it:

Last of my NA UA Watermelon Gose "beers."
Just wrapped up a 10K - felt OK, been 14 years since I've run one. Not injured, didn't push it.
Can still do the half-M at 9000 feet in 3 weeks. All good. Strange feeling, though, starting in a giant horde of people again... Ok, I'll stop. I realize that beer and running isn't a natural combo for some.
