Seriously though, thanks for the info. I googled "LeBleu batches" earlier in the week and came up with nothing (not that I put a ton of time into it) so it will be good to let my fellow tasters know what year she is!

Just got home from a little 3 on 3 basketball. Reached in the beer fridge and pulled and the nearest 12oz which was a Bear Republic Hot Rod Rye and now I'm gonna steal my kids' chicken nuggets.

 

Looked at this beer today, but put it back. Thoughts?

Dude, I totally don't get that beer. I drank my entire bottle's worth because of the price, but there is so much going on it misses everything. No barrel taste but instead a TON of shitty milk chocolate flavor, super weird mouthfeel and the coffee only hits your breath later. I've heard others talk of blending issues possibly, but I really don't get it.

In Nashville? I was there. Mainly for Municipal Waste though. First time seeing Exhumed and I didn't know Speedwolf was playing. Nice surprise...great band.

 

Finished my 12 pack of Black Butte and now I'm gonna crack open a Founders Breakfast Stout
