Happy Saturday, people! Starting with more proof of the great distro northern Europe gets. Object Oriented by Spyglass in a glass I should have washed better... :grimacing: This weekend will be about motorsport and beer, cheers all!

Another beer while I catch up on my reviews. Pite Pale Ale by Pite Bryggeri. First beer from this brewery for me. They have a rep for making well crafted, true to style beers, and this fits that description.

One of the best guitar solos ever!

Good to see some others joined in before I got here. Been up since 4am, doing random shit because I couldn’t get back to sleep. Watched the second half of the Spain v Côte d'Ivoire Olympics soccer match with it’s somewhat crazy 90th minute+ ending.

While watching, I deleted some old photos on my phone. Then it was light enough to go for a jog/walk. The photo album cleansing brings me to this before and now hike photo of the day:

About 6 months apart, I think, and at a slightly different angle, so I doubt the uprooted trunk has shifted as much as it seems.

    And a morning beer:

Random observation today: the first 2/3 of my time on the trails, people I passed were very forthcoming with greetings oh, “Hello” and “Good morning,” many with a smile. Then (about 30 minutes in) people were more hesitant, and by the end, most were inwardly focused and barely acknowledged there was someone else on the trail. No analysis, just something I happened to notice.

    Cheers, all!

Can’t let @JamFuel be the only first page multi-poster, or be the only one with an enjoyable Alesmith beer:

GF woke up so we’re sharing a beer before she visits family for a few days. “Glasses” work well for us, and expecting to have two more similar to these, which will be all prepped to hold lagers, by the end of the day.

I am almost out of beer, and I need to buy a new Aaron Rodgers jersey for gamedays, since the one I had was accidentally desecrated a couple weeks ago. The best place to buy those items is in the Lambeau Field area, so I might as well attend Green Bay Packers practice to see how things are going for the team.

Good morning BAs! A little hair of the dog - Bell’s Two Hearted:

I had so much fun hanging out with @vabeerguy yesterday. We probably drank a beer or two too many, but we both made it safely home none the worse for our two breweries visits. Good times, good beer. I’ll hit the highway later today and hope to check back in this evening. Cheers from Richmond VA!

Ah! I think that’s an “outpost” for them as they are out of Charlottesville. I’ve generally enjoyed their beers fairly well, hope you did as well.

I don’t have any Three Notch’d beers, but I do have one Bingo Beer Co left…

After a 30 mile bike ride -just had a near beer from Athletic Brewing, Pilot Series, Two Trellises: Simcoe and Amarillo. This was quite good. Posts from @eppCOS definitely helped to provide a push to near beer for a change. Thanks!

@cjgiant , I've noticed this same phenomenon quite often. And whether it is behavior-mirroring or something else, I think I tend to do the same.

    Gooooood morning, Advocates!
A gorgeous cloudy/sun morning today, did my 13.25 mile "tuning" slow half-marathon distance, my last long long bit before the half-marathon on trails in Frisco in two weeks.

One cold bath later, and now hitting the usual UA Florida Weisse (maybe I bought too much?).
    Tastes great this morning.
I'll be back later... I think. Cheers!

Cheers man, it was that whole N/A thread here on BA that made me pay attention to these new N/A options; not like they used to be (which is good). Nice to mix in the low ABV stuff on these longer days when other beers beckon. It's like having a more tasty "water break" in between. Good job!

it’s a beautiful Saturday; sunny, mild, and low humidity. It feels like September. I’m at Rushing Duck to buy cans of a new release. But first a pour of 1,000 Earthquakes, an American IPA hopped with Strata, Citra, Idaho 7, and El Dorado. The keg is about to kick and the tangerine has fallen off a bit but it’s still tasty. Cheers!

I haven’t visited Long Lot Farm Brewery in Chester, NY since before the pandemic. It’s a working farm and really a lovely spot to drink a beer or two. Barnstormer is a session IPA (4.2%) hopped with Cascade and Azzaca. They use 90% New York malt and the result is surprisingly earthy. I’d swear I’m tasting notes of tobacco. Maybe I’m crazy but I like it. Cheers from Orange County, NY!
