A bit of drama yesterday, my daughter being helpful brought my case to the car, and her fob got broken off her lanyard. We found it in the case this am , after looking in the case yesterday. Score!

Finished a great 3 mile power walk with Mrs. Dewitt this morning and went STRAIGHT for this lil' doggie.
The last of a 4pk, it is now time to lodge a review/rating. 4.5 to 4.6. Or perhaps 10,000 violins.
Holy mostaccioli what a stout. Great price just like their porter, which is equally as good in it's style.

Mexican Cake...

Whatta great return! Far as I'm concerned, this was *the* original Mexican stout - really dug it for years, but then the market was drenched in every manner of flavored stout, and after a while, kinda got burnt out - particularly on "Mexican" and berry stouts - but seeing this on the shelf a few days ago, felt the need for a revisit... Tastes like I recalled it back in the day, lots of bittersweet chocolate, not too sweet, ample roast and char, and of course, the sizzle of heat... Great stuff...

One Dimensional Man by Root + Branch. Multi-oat/Wheat Double IPA brewed and dry hopped with American and neo-German hops cheers

 

Founders Centennial IPA, another beer I’ve been passing by for a few years now. Fine brew.

 

A little fruit juice after bacon, eggs, hash browns and chorizo cooked on the black stone. Late breakfast since the wife and kids just got out of bed an hour ago. Love them dearly but it was the kind of morning dreams are made of lol! Puff Tart XL, a heavily fruited imperial sour from Brewing Projekt with passion fruit, peach, and blackberry. Go Brewers! Cheers!

Outer Range Fresh Palette IPA (Simcoe, Citra, Columbus). Big Simcoe and Columbus vibes on this one. Yellow grapefruit, navel orange, lemon, that Simcoe “cat pee” note is there, quite herbal, dank, big pine resin. Slightly juicy up front but quickly turns semi-dry and bitter. These guys make some of my favorite IPA’s out there.
