What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #3207

Humble Forager/8th State Star Gazing with 8th State Imperial Stout w/ toffee, toasted coconut, hazelnut, and vanilla bean. Pours like motor oil. Not nearly as sweet as expected given what the label says. The base stout still comes through and provides bitter dark chocolate, roasted malt, and even some light dark fruit. The adjuncts are there though, with the coconut and hazelnut being the leaders of the pack. If there was a dark chocolate version of Nutella, this would probably be what it tastes like. Very enjoyable stuff. Cheers!

Birds Fly South “The Blueprint”



Earthy old school IPA. Ton of herbal goodness. Mint, basil, oregano against caramel and resin. Smooth low bitterness. Not what I had expected, and quite pleasant.

 

First beer of the day, really enjoying this beer, very tasty! Apparently a slow day on BA.

 

Really enjoyed this New Glarus Lots o' Peach. Definitely on the sweet side but really easy to drink. So jealous of you folks living in the Badger state. New Glarus make so many outstanding beers. Cheers!
