    Good day BAs! For those of you commenting on Mrs. Lizard's COVID, she is in quarantine for another couple of days and is doing well - mild symptoms since I'm hell on keeping immunizations up to date.

    We had a bit of rain overnight and are expecting some rain showers today so I'll have to pick up apples and zukes early. Today's New Breakfast Beer:

    Good. Actually smells and tastes like key lime pie. Rating 4, rDev +2.3%.

    Good morning BAs, and thanks to @Ozzylizard for unlocking the doors this morning…best wishes to Mrs. Lizard for a speedy recovery. Another productive morning, so time for a coffee break - Devil’s Backbone’s “Nanaimo Imperial Stout”, brewed with cacao nibs, walnuts, toasted coconut and vanilla beans:

    Best By 9/13/21. I bought the last 2 cans for sale at the Lexington VA brewery on 7/29/21. Poured at 60°. Coconut nose. Toasted coconut taste, bittersweet dark chocolate, earthy nutty middle (walnuts). I like the coconut - not at all artificial feeling or tasting. A very good coconut beer, albeit a bit thin…and my notes reflect that I liked it better on tap at the brewery (the nose/tastes were stronger, especially with the coconut).

    A beautiful hot sunny day shaping up here in SWFL, although I have plenty to keep me busy indoors…Cheers and have a great day y’all!

    Good morning all - congrats to @RaulMondesi for living his best Belgian beer life today. Looks like fun. Someday...

    Anyhoo, same ol' N/A train for now, maybe crack one later, got my last 6 miles in with some hill repeats and some tempo pace. Now time to work, chill, get a haircut and all that jazz.
