Is that beer worthy? I've passed on it due to the general lack of praise and I'm still pissed about Summerfest

We scored a fresh slab of swordfish from the seafood monger today

We went for a long walk today on white Crest Beach in Wellfleet, Ma. Not a living soul in either direction for as far as the eye could see.

Then this guy showed up, Sammy the seal, he was yapping about something.

I am starting to retry and explore this Festobermarzen beer craze I’ve been reading about as I put together a spinach lasagna.

I had this one 9 years ago almost to the day. Think it was at a Phillies game. I hated it. Called it super sweet and malty. I was a pure Bitter hop head back then. My ways have changed over the years.

This pours with a huge pillowy head. Smells earthy, spicy and a light malty sweetness. Beer has a good body very light sweetness behind the caramel. A little dry on the finish. I wish the spicyness I smelled came out in the taste. Ryefest anyone?

Overall I like this beer and glad I bought six for the great price of $6.99. Looking forward to the Slyfox version.

So I said I would revisit this, and it's actually tasting pretty damn good. I would buy this again despite the projectile vomiting hop on the label.

Phew... made it as soon as I could.
Did my 10 miler with tempo miles (ouch) this morning before work, taught, committeed, appointments with students, then ESCAPED, so starting slow. UA WC IPA stuff (N/A) before I make more serious commitments.

Worked 5-midnight last night and turned around and worked 9-5 today. Stupid cat is addicted to those temptations now like crazy and was trying to open the door of my bedroom like a velociraptor at like 3am. Shower beer and some good music? 1 more shift until I get a day off. Thinking of just taking it. I think it's time to move. They are lowering the speedlimit on the way to Floyds.

 

Good evening, all! I stopped earlier at a HyVee W&S store that I don't often visit. I picked up some Rémy Martin, then grabbed a couple bottles of The Sixth Glass for supper. I'm pretending this is a table beer. So far it's doing a fine job, holding its own with pita chips and gas station fried chicken. I think Boulevard nailed it. As always, I might add. Cheers!

 

Im enjoying it,maybe not the greatest but very good. My tastes lean towards lagers,ales,porters and stouts and don't care for ipas so my positive review may be slanted
