    Good morning BAs! Starting my day with a KBS Espresso:

    Bottled 10/21/20. Poured at 53°. The coffee has faded somewhat. I’m detecting a little green bell peppers in the nose/on the tongue. Still quite tasty, but if you’ve got ‘em, my suggestion is you drink ‘em.

    Daydrinking started later than yesterday, but accompanied by an unexpected White Sox game, pushed up in anticipation of rain.

    Starting with another Oktoberfest, abrievated summary in the Oktoberfest thread. More sweet than my tasting notes, OK, but hoped for more balanced and complex than sweet bread.

    2 straight midnight shifts. Barely slept last night cause I’m cutting out weed till I find a job that doesn’t do stupid bullshit like schedule me to midnight one night and 9-5 the next morning. Nap time

    It’s Beer Science Tuesday at the pub…today I brought a TR10 (11/01/12) vs. TR10 (4/12/21) for a down and dirty side by side/vertical:

    The 9 year old beer has more nose and taste…sugary raisins, sweet plums, earthy/dirty tobacco. No oxidation (from my WV cellar). The new beer had no fruit and tasted a bit sharp/phenolic. The new beer needs a few years. Good times - Cheers!
