Loved 12 Monkeys. 5th Element was a hoot.

Nice music memories. That stuff is just so unique and fitted nicely into Time.

I sort of like 5th Element but it’s lacking something compared to other notable flicks with him.

Bruce unfortunately is now past his prime, I liked his part in “The Expandables”, since then I’ve been disappointed. Maybe he’s wealthy enough, too “old” or just has given up on cinema.

Drinking Ayinger Oktober Fest-Märzen, which is probably my favorite Fest-Märzen.
I had it earlier in the season on draft, now I have a few bottles.

Being Bruce Willis is likely exhausting. What's next, a beautiful collection of hard-ass poetry?

First off, that is a fantastic picture! Really captures the beauty of that beer. Next, I think I've expressed my agreement with you before on on this but, yes that is probably my favorite Marzen as well. There are some local breweries to me that are starting to get close, but I really enjoy Ayinger's every year. Prost!

Great tune choice! I've noticed that a good, straight forward stout is a little hard to find in my neck of the woods. Everyone has to add something to them. Sometimes you just want a quality stout. Not dessert!

    Good afternoon Advocates
I’m taking an afternoon coffee break. Over a year old and still tastes great.

I’ve been working outside most of the day and it’s about 60 degrees in these parts today, nice Stout weather.
I took one of those “that’s gonna hurt tomorrow “ falls in the yard today except it hurts now, ouch.
I always loved the guitar parts in this one

    And 3 for Thursday

You've hit 2 home runs today on beer choices. Weihenstephaner Weizenbock was a four run homer! Prost!

If that ain't the truth...sometimes I feel most brewer's don't give two shits about brewing a quality simple and honest beer...then again, perhaps their customer bases don't care...

I've heard arguments in the past that brewing a dark ale was simple because it can hide brewing imperfections. I'm now inclined to think its brewer's overly relying on haze, lactose, fruit, and barrel-aging, etc. that are hiding imperfections...:sunglasses:

Absolute classic Dunkelweissbier. Weihenstephaner, 'nuff said. Prost!

I probably should have saved this tune for Friday, but I was enjoying it too much to wait to share. I'll recycle if anyone likes it.

Glad to know I'm not the only one. I've spoken with some of my local brewers about this and most admit, they have to provide what will sell. Funny thing is, just like lagers, they all prefer to drink a straight up American or Irish Stout without fail. Something simple they can just enjoy for what it is.

Drinking Lawson's Sip of Sunshine, one of the many nice things about drinking
Fest beers is the extra zip hoppy beers have when they're in the mix

@ATL6245 I think you captured that Dunkel quite nicely

@ShutUpLiver that is a fantastic beer. It is so well balanced. I drink it year around, but I've designated it as my special Christmas Eve night cap.
