Just finished preparing a load of fresh vegetables for freezing. Blanched Italian flat green beans, cut up bunches of bell and long sweet peppers, parsley and mint, and blanched and pickled fresh beets. Nor'easter raining hard, so time for a beer!

Wormtown Fresh Patch Pumpkin Ale, 4.5%, so tasty with a delicious pumpkin pie flavor!

 

Yuengling lord chesterfield with a naan bread pizza. Chicken peppers. Parmasean ranch and pesto.

 

The Brew Kettle - All Ohio White Rajah (can).. cheers!

 

Well, that tasted like another - I love beer on a rainy day!

Night Shift Whirlpool pale ale, 4.5%, just a phenomenal citrusy lite-IPA flavor!

 

Baby down for a nap. Getting a second beer in.

Absolutely fabulous Fall day in the city, cooking fish and looking forward to a walk in the Forest to take in the weather.

Also looking forward to cheering for Dusty Baker’s Astros in what likely is the final World Series before Manfred and MLB Owners complete their destruction of the sport with a 14-16 team playoff scheme, rendering the 162 game season a glorified exhibition contest.
